A mountain girl at heart, JoBeth is originally from a small town in Virginia called Wytheville. She found her love of performing through dance class, where she was somewhat of a Carol Burnett type, on and off the stage.
JoBeth attended Lees- McRae College in Banner Elk, North Carolina, where she was able to hone her craft. Lees-McRae not only helped JoBeth with her performances, but it also opened her eyes to the beauty of technical theatre. JoBeth graduated from Lees-McRae College in 2023 with her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Musical Theatre along with a minor in Technical Theatre.
Since graduation, JoBeth has been auditioning and traveling for contracts. The summer of 2024 found JoBeth in a new form of media, as she was able to record music with Grammy-award-winning producer, Don McCollister. During this time, she also wrote and performed her very own one-woman cabaret, Viva la Diva.
“Storytelling is all about learning the heart of another individual, and what better way to do that than experiencing life,” she says.
