A mountain girl at heart JoBeth is originally from a small town in Virginia called, Wytheville. She found her love of performing through dance class, where she was somewhat of a Carol Burnett type, on and off the stage.

JoBeth attended Lees- McRae College in Banner Elk, North Carolina, where she was able to hone and craft her storytelling abilities. Lees-McRae not only helped JoBeth with her performances but also opened her eyes to the beauty of technical theatre. JoBeth graduated from Lees-McRae College in 2023 with her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Musical Theatre along with a minor in Technical Theatre.

JoBeth moved to her most recent stop in Charlotte, North Carolina where she began touring for the Children’s Theatre of Charlotte in an original show entitled, Show of Hands. The summer found JoBeth in a new form of media, as she was able to record music with Grammy-award-winning producer, Don McCollister. During this time, she also wrote and performed her very own one-woman cabaret at a local spot called Tap and Vine. “Storytelling is all about learning the heart of another individual, and what better way to do that than experiencing life,” she says.
